An early morning pick up from Kampala by our tour guide from Sights and Sounds of Africa Safaris. Then proceeds to Kasese, during the drive you will be able to see the different villages and homesteads, the lush green country side that typify western Uganda. We shall make a stopover to have lunch in Fort portal, visit the local market and continue to Kasese. Check in at Rwenzori Trekkers Hostel which is surrounded by the Foot hills of Mountain Rwenzori. Have an early morning breakfast and after head for morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National park. During the game drive, you have an encounter with elephants, lots of Uganda Kobs, herds of buffaloes, bush backs, water backs and many other animals feeding in the beautiful plains. There are lions, leopards, hyenas and many other predators which you may encounter during the game drive. All these carnivals are good at hiding, and with good searching they can be found.

 In the afternoon, you will have a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. This is the channel which connect two lakes, Lake George and Lake Edward. During the cruise, you will able to see lots of animals drinking water, others taking a bath, and some basking on the banks of the channel. On top of that there are hundreds of beautiful bird species, some looking for ticks, others fishing and others merely enjoying the cool breeze. This channel is so diverse with wildlife that you will see schools of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and many more literally living together – space is enough for everyone.

Journey – 41 minutes from Kasese to Queen.

After a leisurely breakfast, you will head for a morning Chimpanzee tracking at Kyambura Gorge which is located in the far eastern corner of Queen Elizabeth National park in South western Uganda. This gorge is drained by a River Kyambura , with a beautiful land scape which is swarmed by rich wildlife bio-diversity that comprises of primates, wild animals as well as birds. In the afternoon, you will visit Kasonga community for a community walk. This community is located on Lake George Ramsar site in Hamukungu fishing village which is 7 kilometers away from park. Have morning breakfast and set off for Kampala/Entebbe International Airport, have a stopover at Igongo Cultural Center for optional activities and Lunch, enroute stop at the Equator crossing for the requisite snap shot and a bit of souvenir shopping
